Powertrain Test Technician – 12 month Contract

Torque Consulting are looking for a Powertrain Test Technician for a world leading automotive client, you will be a part of the CAE team.
Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Take acoustic and vibration measurements, check the resulting data and pass to the NVH team for analysis.

Be conversant with NVH instrumentation types and be able to select the appropriate instrumentation for the task specified.

Be capable of fitting instrumentation to the item to be tested.

Identify shortfalls in current test capability and recommend improvements.

Conduct pass-by and other tests to ensure that the statutory and
regulatory requirements regarding noise emissions are met

Work with peers in order to get the best team performance.
