Superintendent

Torque Consulting are exclusively working with a Construction Management company who are looking to quickly hire an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee construction projects throughout NYC and the Boroughs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex construction projects and delivering them on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall construction process and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Manage all aspects of construction projects, including coordinating schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Provide leadership and supervision to the on-site project team, including subcontractors and vendors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and progress photos.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site.
• Identify and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
• Ensure that projects are completed within budget and in accordance with all applicable codes, regulations, and permits.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial interior construction projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
• Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification
• 62 hr SST
