Senior C&I Engineer role available at a world-leading glass manufacturer. This role is design-focussed in addition to commissioning and installation. Must have experience in DCS/Control Panel design.

- £55k minimum salary (Plus bonus scheme & Salary Uplift)
- Bonus scheme worth up to 20% annual salary (combination of personal & company targets)
- Lathom, Ormskirk
- Hybrid role (Wednesdays on-site, 4 days at home)
- 37.5 hours/week
- Expenses paid, business class travel 5/6x year to locations in South America, North America, Middle East (usually 2 weeks a time) for commissioning and installation of projects

Job Spec:
- Liaise with and manage interfaces with other engineering disciplines to develop full system designs
- Prepare and manage the preparation of design deliverables including, Design Specifications, Instrument Data Sheets & Test Specifications
- Prepare and manage the technical specification for installation of control systems including the creation of cable block diagrams, cable schedules, wiring schedules & loop drawings
- Management of onsite installation assuring meeting of safety, quality, and schedule objectives of projects
- On-site commissioning of DCS and instrumentation
- Manages project spend in accordance with approved budgets
- Provide technical support for C&I related equipment post installation
- Adhere to both company and regulatory requirements such as H&S regulations, industry and geographical legislations, Good Documentation Practices
