I am currently recruiting for an experience Purchase Ledger Controller working for one of the UKs Manufacturers.

This role is covering maternity on a fix term contracted for 12 months.

Job summary

  • Processing purchase ledger invoiced onto the finance system on a daily basis – 2500+per month
  • Paying suppliers on a timely basis, in accordance with supplier terms and co
  • Building supplier relationships with suppliers
  • Processing adhoc payments when necessary for proforma invoices
  • Dealing with invoice queries – effectively working with other business departments
  • Providing monthly goods received not invoiced accrual to the financial controller
  • Assisting in stock takes – as required inputting stock counts sheets
  • Adhoc tasks as required

Experience/ knowledge

  • On job experience or a similar accounts role
  • Access supply chain or similar accountingsystems
  • Purchase ledger experience
  • Raising payments
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good level of IT literacy
  • Good attention to detail
