Mechanical Design Engineer – Leeds
Perm – Full time
Torque Consulting are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a client of ours based in Leeds. Our client are an industry leading business specialising within bespoke special purpose machinery supplying into clients within the Nuclear and Defense industry.
The role will involve all aspects of the design work, using Solidworks from R&D to continuous improvement of existing design’s due to the high demand of existing customers the business has. The ideal candidate will have background within automated machinery/SPM and be confident with dealing with projects from cradle to grave.

Key skills:
- 3D CAD knowledge (Solidoworks or Inventor)
- 2+ years experience with Automated machinery / Special purpose machinery
- Team player
- Confident and professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
