Torque Consulting are currently seeking a Junior Design Engineer for a client of ours based in the Stockport Area. Our client are a globally renowned company and specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of equipment for the automotive and logistics industry.
The role will involve all aspects of the design work, using Solidworks. Joining a development team of 8, you will be working at head office, producing and validating designs for new and existing products from concept through to productions. The role can be varied, including occasional site visits, speaking and dealing with production, suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ months of mechanical design experience, any electrical knowledge is a bonus however full training on this will be provided.

- 3D CAD knowledge (Any major package)
- HNC/D Trained – Apprentice Trained
- Team player – Great attitude
- Confident and professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
