Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for efficiently maintaining air conditioning, USP, generators, and general building services. Your duties will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and diagnostic checks. You will also assist the general maintenance team with basic plumbing tasks and participate in out-of-hours call-outs.
Main Duties:
- Carry out routine PPM tasks
- Conduct reactive maintenance and electrical repairs as required
- Attend site meetings or training when required
- Be proactive when on site
- Cooperate with other disciplines
- Be part of a call-out rota
- Support contract change management
- Adhere to the company’s mission, vision, and values
- Ensure that all statutory and legislative requirements are achieved
- Obtain appropriate authorisation for access into restricted areas
- Complete risk assessments and worksheets for works undertaken
What we are looking for:
- Experience in maintenance, testing, and fault finding on a variety of equipment
- Specific qualification in refrigeration or air conditioning
- Time served in an Air Con specific service role (not installation)
- Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation
- Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
