Business Development Manager – Warrington £45,000 per annum + £5000 Bonus

Torque Consulting are currently seeking a Business Development Manager/ internal sales to cover the north west for a world leading client of ours that design, manufacture and distribute various products to sectors such as industrial automation, machinery and renewable energy.
The role will be based remotely for 4 days a week meeting clients, and then 1 day a week in the office or at home completing admin. The role will include generating new business from an existing customer base and maintaining the existing customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving Customer enquiries through direct customer visits, or by phone, email, and sales inbox
- Identification of Customer requirements
- Providing Price & delivery information
- Creating quotations
- Providing technical and selection support
- Providing progress reports from time to time as required
- Providing feedback of customer satisfaction as required by ISO
You will be a key member of the team, and this role will offer full bespoke training programme so industry knowledge isn’t necessary.
The ideal candidate:
- 5 years experience working in the mechanical industry in a sales focused role
- Excellent communication skills
- An understanding or previous experience working with power transmission
- Knowledge of Rotating Equipment or Gearboxes, Gearmotors, Drives and Motors is beneficial
- Driven and target focused individual
